Easy Apple Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium apples
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. each cinnamon and nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. honey
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cut the apples in half, core, slice thinly and don't peel apples.
    Drop slices into a bowl of cold water.
    Set aside. Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
    Mix well. Beat the egg in a medium bowl.
    Stir in brown sugar, honey and vanilla.
    Blend in well drained apples and the flour mixture.
    Mix well.
    Fold in walnuts and raisins.
    Spread mixture evenly in a greased 9-inch pie plate.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serve hot, topped with French vanilla ice cream.
    Makes one 9-inch pie plate, 4 servings.
