Homemade Ice Cream(Basic Vanilla) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 c. half and half or table cream
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Scald
    milk;
    add sugar and salt to milk and stir until both are
    well
    dissolved.
    Add cream;
    stir in vanilla.
    Let mixture cool.
    Churn in ice cream freezer.
    Makes 2 quarts.
