Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 pkg. yeast
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift enriched all-purpose flour and measure.
    Resift 3 times with soda, salt, sugar and baking powder.
    Cut in shortening until mixture appears like coarse meal.
    Soften yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
    Add yeast and buttermilk in center of flour mixture. Stir until all flour is moistened.
    Cover with heavy plate and/or wrap in plastic and store in refrigerator until ready to use.
