One Egg Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted cake flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. butter or other shortening
    3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg (unbeaten)
Preparation
    Sift flour. Add baking powder and salt; sift together.
    Cream butter thoroughly. Add sugar; add milk, vanilla and egg. Mix well. Bake at 375\u00b0 until toothpick inserted in cake comes out clean.
