Party Chicken And Shrimp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. medium shrimp
3 whole large chicken breasts
4 Tbsp. butter
1 medium onion, diced
1/4 c. minced parsley
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/3 c. Port wine
1/4 c. water
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. basil
Preparation

In 12-inch skillet, over medium heat in hot butter, cook onion until tender, stirring occasionally.
Remove onion.
In drippings, cook chicken breast halves until browned on both sides.
Into skillet with chicken, measure 3 tablespoons minced parsley; stir in onion, tomato sauce, wine, water, salt, basil and pepper.
Over high heat, heat to boiling.
Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes.
Add shrimp, cover and simmer 5 minutes.
Skim off fat from liquid in skillet.
Spoon onto platter.
Sprinkle with remaining parsley.
Makes 6 servings.
