Sand Tarts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 lb. oleo
1 lb. powdered sugar
3 egg yolks
2 egg whites, beaten well
1 lb. plain flour
Preparation

Cream oleo and powdered sugar.
Add egg yolks and egg whites. Slowly add flour.
Form into patties.
Chill, covered tightly, overnight.
Roll very thin.
Cut out.
Brush the top of each cookie with egg white (beaten egg white).
Sprinkle top with mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
(I put in a salt shaker.)
Bake at 325\u00b0 until very light brown.
Store in a tight container.
The thinner they are rolled, the better they are.
