Danish Puff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. butter
    1/3 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter
    3 eggs
    1 c. water
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. almond flavoring (optional)
Preparation
    Mix butter and water and bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat and add flavoring.
    Stir in flour immediately to prevent lumping. When smooth and thick, add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat until smooth.
    Divide in half and spread evenly over each piece of pastry.
    Bake about 50 to 60 minutes, until topping is crisp and brown, at 350\u00b0.
    Frost when cool.
