Applesauce Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 small pkg. flavored jello
1 c. boiling water
dash of salt
2 c. (No. 2 can) applesauce
2 Tbsp. red hot candies
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Add cinnamon candies to water in a 2-quart saucepan.
Heat and stir until candy is dissolved.
Add jello and dissolve.
Add applesauce, salt and nutmeg.
Pour into bowl or 8 x 8-inch pan. Chill until set.
