Brickle Crunch Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    35 saltine crackers
    2 sticks (1/2 lb.) butter
    6 oz. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    6 oz. (1 c.) peanut butter morsels
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Line a 10 x 15-inch cookie sheet with foil.
    Lay out crackers on cookie sheet, packing tightly.
    In a medium sized saucepan, melt butter, add sugar and boil, stirring frequently for 2 to 3 minutes until sugar is completely dissolved. Immediately pour mixture over crackers and bake 7 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate and peanut butter morsels over crackers, spreading evenly as they melt.
    Refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
    Break into pieces.
    Store in refrigerator. Also great with chopped nuts or coconut.
    (Better than Fannie Farmers crunch.)
