Waldorf Salad Mold - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. diced apples, unpeeled
    1/3 c. minced celery
    1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. mixed fruit or orange gelatin
    1 3/4 c. water
    4 tsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. mayonnaise
    3 to 4 Tbsp. sherry or orange juice
    apple slices for garnish
    parsley (if desired)
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine apples, celery and marshmallows.
    Dissolve gelatin in 1 cup boiling water.
    Stir in remaining 3/4 cup of water, lemon juice and salt.
    Chill until syrupy.
