Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    6 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk with 2 tsp. soda
    1 c. jam
    1 c. raisins with 2 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
    3 c. flour
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs, then jam.
    Put spices with flour.
    Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk.
    Add flavoring, raisins and nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 45 minutes or until done.
