Chinese Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean round steak
    1 Tbsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 cloves garlic
    1 small can bamboo shoots
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1 1/2 c. beef broth
    1 c. sliced onion
    2 green peppers, cut into strips
    1 can bean sprouts
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch

Preparation
    While rice is cooking, pound steak to 1/4-inch thickness.
    Cut into strips.
    Sprinkle meat with paprika and allow to stand while preparing other ingredients.
    Using large skillet, brown meat in butter. Add garlic and broth. Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
    Stir in onions and peppers.
    Cover and cook 5 more minutes. Blend cornstarch, water and soy sauce. Stir into meat mixture.
    Cook, stirring, until clear and thick, about 2 minutes. Add tomatoes and other vegetables.
    Stir gently.
    Heat until all vegetables are hot. Serve over fluffy rice.
