Bona Zouf - German Bean Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. yellow beans
    3 carrots
    3 medium potatoes
    1/4 lb. bologna (chunk)
    2 Tbsp. Crisco
    3 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Cook beans 1/2 hour; then add 2 or 3 (according to size) diced potatoes and diced carrots.
    Cut bologna in chunks.
    When vegetables are done put 2 tablespoons Crisco in skillet and 3 tablespoons flour.
    Stir and brown.
    Now use some broth to make a gravy.
    Be careful at first to be sure the water or broth is hot when adding to flour.
    Now put it in with the beans and in 5 minutes cooking it's ready to eat.
