Mexican Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (1.25 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/4 c. water
    1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls
    2 c. corn chips, crushed
    1 c. dairy sour cream
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown beef; drain.
    Add seasoning mix, tomato sauce and water. Simmer 5 minutes.
    Press crescent rolls into 9-inch pie plate. Sprinkle with 1 cup of crushed corn chips.
    Cover with ground beef mixture.
    Spread sour cream on top.
    Sprinkle with cheese and add remaining corn chips.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Bake, uncovered, 20 minutes.
    Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
