White Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. dried apricots, cut in half (about 2 c.)
1 c. whole red candied cherries
1/2 c. whole green candied cherries
1/2 lb. red candied pineapple, cut into eighths
1/2 lb. white candied pineapple, cut into eighths
1 1/2 c. whole pecan halves
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. grated lemon or orange rind
4 eggs
1/2 c. milk
assorted candied fruit (for garnish)
Preparation

Combine fruits and nuts.
Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
Cream butter well.
Add sugar gradually; cream well.
Beat in vanilla and citrus rind.
Add eggs, one at a time; beat well after each addition.
Add 1/4 of dry ingredients and milk to creamed mixture.
Continue procedure; beat well after each addition.
