Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 cup butter or margarine
3 eggs, beaten until light
1/2 cup dates, chopped fine
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup nuts
Preparation

Add sugar to creamed butter, blend well.
Add eggs, beat in mixer for about 10 minutes.
Add dates, raisins, and nuts.
Bake in pie shell at 425 degrees for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 325 for 30 minutes.
