Sweet And Sour Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean pork, cut in strips*
    2 Tbsp. oil or margarine
    1/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1 c. pineapple juice
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    3/4 c. green pepper
    1/4 c. thin sliced onions
    1 large can pineapple chunks
    1 small can sliced water chestnuts
Preparation
    Brown pork in oil.
    Add water, cover and simmer for 1 hour. In a small pot, combine cornstarch, salt, brown sugar, vinegar, pineapple juice (drained from pineapple chunks) and soy sauce. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
    Pour sauce into pot with hot pork.
    Add green peppers, onion, water chestnuts and pineapple chunks.
    Cook about 10 more minutes.
    Serve over white rice.
