Easy Egg Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    3 c. milk (can use low-fat milk)
    1 lb. sausage or turkey sausage
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    7 slices white bread
    8 oz. low-fat shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Break bread up into small pieces in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix eggs and milk; pour over bread.
    In a separate pan, brown sausage and drain.
    Saute onion and green pepper until tender.
    Add sausage to bread/milk/egg mixture.
    Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese. Top with onion and green pepper.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake one hour at 350\u00b0.
    Great Sunday brunch item.
