Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. soft shortening
    1/3 c. buttermilk
    1 1/4 c. mashed (ripe) bananas (about 3)
    3 eggs
    1/3 c. buttermilk
    2/3 c. chopped fine nuts
Preparation
    Grease and flour 2 (9-inch) pans or 1 (9 x 13-inch) oblong pan.
