Orange Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (3 oz.) pkg. orange jello
    4 1/2 c. water (3 c. hot)
    1 pt. orange sherbet, softened
    2 cans mandarin oranges, drained (save liquid)
    1 small can crushed pineapple, drained (save liquid)
    banana
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in 3 cups boiling water.
    Cool.
    Use liquid of oranges and/or pineapple for 1 1/2 cups cool water.
    Add to jello mixture.
    Add sherbet, mandarin oranges and pineapple.
    Mix all together.
    Put cut-up banana on top with Cool Whip before serving. Serves 10 to 12.
