Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. oil or oleo
    3 eggs
    2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. cooked, chopped, seeded prunes
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Blend oil and sugar.
    Add eggs and dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
    Then add prunes.
    Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Cut cake in squares while hot.
    Pour icing over cake while cake and icing are both hot.
    While cake is baking, prepare topping.
