Salted Peanut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs, beaten well
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. salted peanuts, ground
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. soda, dissolved in milk
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat dickens out of eggs.
    Add sugar, shortening and vanilla. After creamed together, add buttermilk with soda in it.
    Stir more.
    Sift flour and baking powder; stir peanuts in.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for one-half hour.
