Great Fruity Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. quick oats
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 large egg
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    3/4 c. packed dark brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. diced apple
    3/4 c. cranberries, chopped
    1/4 c. raisins
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix flour, oats, baking powder and cinnamon in large bowl.
    Break egg in another bowl; add sugar and whisk smooth; whisk in vanilla and melted butter.
    Stir in apple, raisins and cranberries.
    Pour over dry ingredients.
    Fold in just until dry ingredients are moistened.
    Spoon into lined or greased muffin cups.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brown and firm to touch.
    Turn onto rack and cool.
    Store in plastic bag or airtight container.
    Do not freeze.
    Yields 12 muffins.
