Potatoes-Wild Rice Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 4 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. fresh parsley
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 to 3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    4 c. cubed, cooked potatoes
    1 1/2 c. cooked wild rice
    6 strips bacon, browned and crumbled
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Saute onion and celery in butter until soft.
    Stir in flour.
    Add milk all at once and simmer until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Stir in parsley, pepper and 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese.
    Combine cooked wild rice and potatoes in a 3-quart casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with salt.
    Pour sauce over top; top with remaining cheese and bacon pieces.
    Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes.
    Serves 8.
