Sun-Maid Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. raisins
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Combine butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar; beat until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs; mix well.
    Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
    Stir into butter mixture; mix well.
    Stir in raisins.
    Shape into 1-inch balls; roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
    Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheets.
    Bake in upper third of oven at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    (Do not overbake.) Cool for 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets.
    Cool on wire racks.
    Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
