Country Skillet Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. corn kernels
6 slices bacon
1/2 c. water
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

In large skillet, cook bacon until crisp.
Remove from skillet; drain on paper towels.
Pour off all but 3 tablespoons bacon drippings from skillet.
Add corn, water, sugar, salt and pepper to skillet.
Cook, stirring frequently, 15 to 20 minutes or until corn is tender.
Crumble bacon and add to skillet.
Cook, stirring, about 1 minute.
