Laurine'S Praline Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    3 Tbsp. white Karo
    1 c. Pet milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Combine sugars, syrup and milk; cook to a soft ball stage in cold water or 234\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
    Cool 10 minutes.
    Add vanilla; beat by hand about 2 minutes.
    Add pecans; beat until mixture loses its gloss.
    Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto buttered foil or cookie sheet.
