Congo Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. melted shortening
    1 box dark brown sugar
    3 eggs, beaten
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Mix all together and put in greased 9 x 15-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
