Scotch Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. elbow or shell macaroni
    1 c. milk
    1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    1 can corned beef, chopped or 1 1/2 c. cooked ham
    1/4 lb. sharp cheese, diced
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    dash of garlic salt
    3/4 c. dry bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook macaroni in 2 quarts salted water until tender.
    Blend milk with soup; add meat, cheese, onion and garlic salt.
    Blend well.
    Grease casserole and fill with alternating layers of cooked macaroni with soup mixture.
    Sprinkle crumbs on top and dot with butter.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 8.
    May be made in 2 casseroles; bake one and freeze one for later.
