Cold Spaghetti Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. very thin spaghetti
    1/2 lb. tiny shrimp, cooked and shelled
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped green onion
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 c. button mushrooms
    1 c. mayonnaise (homemade preferred)
    juice of 1 large lemon
    salt and pepper to taste
    Greek or Italian olives, red pepper rings, chopped parsley for garnish
Preparation
    Break spaghetti into pieces and cook in salted boiling water until done al dente, 5 to 10 minutes.
    Rinse in cold water and drain well.
    Combine with celery, onion, pepper, mushrooms, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste.
    Chill overnight.
    At serving time, garnish with olives, pepper rings and a goodly amount of chopped fresh parsley.
    This salad keeps very well for several days.
