Apple Nut Torte - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
4 apples, sliced as for pie
confectioners sugar
Preparation

Place in mixing bowl, first 4 ingredients.
Mix with beater until foamy.
In separate bowl, sift flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
Add this to sugar mixture.
With wooden spoon, stir nuts and apples to mixture.
Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
While warm, sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
