Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 handful orzo
1 Tbsp. vegetable shortening
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
1/3 stick butter
1/2 c. uncooked rice
salt to taste
Preparation

In medium saucepan, heat orzo in shortening over medium heat. Bring chicken broth to a boil in another pan. As pasta begins to brown, lower heat. Add butter and rice.
When butter has melted, add salt and broth. Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes or until broth is absorbed.
