Pecan Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 c. pecans
    2 Tbsp. corn syrup
    1/2 c. cream (may use undiluted evaporated milk)
    dash of salt
    1/4 stick oleo
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Add sugars, syrup, cream, cream of tartar and salt.
    Boil to soft ball stage.
    Remove from fire and beat 2 minutes.
    Cool 15 minutes.
    Beat again 10 minutes; add pecans and drop on wax paper. If it gets too hard, add a little hot water.
