Swedish Cocktail Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 lb. ground seasoned sausage
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs (unseasoned)
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt, divided
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
2 Tbsp. butter, divided
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1/4 c. finely chopped celery
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. snipped fresh parsley
dash of ground nutmeg
1/2 c. dairy sour cream
Preparation

In large mixing bowl, combine beef, sausage, bread crumbs, egg, 1/4 teaspoon salt, pepper and 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg.
Mix thoroughly and set aside.
In large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter.
Add onion and celery.
Cook and stir over medium heat until tender.
Stir into meat mixture.
Shape by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls.
In large skillet, melt remaining 1 tablespoon butter.
Add meatballs and cook over medium heat until firm and golden brown.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
