Chocolate Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    6 eggs
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sour cream
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    powdered sugar (optional)
Preparation
    Cream butter; gradually add sugar and brown sugar, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Combine soda and sour cream. Sift together flour, cocoa and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture, alternately with sour cream mixture, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
    Mix just until blended after each addition.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Pour batter into a greased and
    floured 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Let cool in pan 15 minutes. Remove from pan; let cool completely on a wire rack.
    Sift powdered sugar over top of cake, if desired.
