Carrot Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. mace
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 c. grated carrots
1 c. chopped apples
1 c. golden raisins
1 c. chopped pecans

Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients; blend thoroughly.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to first mixture; blend well.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Grease 2 (9-inch) cake pans and line with waxed paper.
Bake 35 to 45 minutes in oven preheated to 350\u00b0.
It is good with Cream Cheese Frosting.
