Hamburger Gravy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean hamburger
1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 to 2 c. water
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Fry the hamburger over medium heat until it's no longer pink. Drain fat and stir in the flour.
Stir the meat and flour mixture until it's lightly browned.
Add the water and stir until the mixture thickens.
Season with salt and pepper.
Serve over toast for breakfast, lunch or along with some carrot sticks and applesauce for a quick dinner.
Serves 4.
