Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter, melted
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1 c. white Karo
    3 eggs
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    chopped pecans (to fill bottom of shell)
Preparation
    Melt butter in small pot; cook until medium brown.
    Add sugar and Karo and cook until thick; cool.
    Beat eggs and add salt and vanilla.
    Add to mixture.
    Place chopped pecans in unbaked pie shell.
    Pour mixture over pecans.
    Bake 30 to 35 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes more.
