John'S Salad(Heavenly Hash) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. unflavored gelatin (1 envelope)
    1/4 c. cold water
    1 (1 lb.) can fruit cocktail (2 c.)
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. heavy cream, whipped
    1/3 c. maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Soften gelatin in cold water.
    Dissolve over hot water; cool slightly.
    Add fruit cocktail with syrup.
    Fold mayonnaise into whipped cream.
    Add fruit mixture.
    Pour in decorative bowl.
    Dot top with cherries.
    Freeze until firm.
