Stuffed Cabbages By Louis Carter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground meat (hamburger or turkey)
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 c. long grain white rice, uncooked (not instant)
    1 sweet pepper, chopped
    1 head cabbage
    1 (No. 1) can whole tomatoes
Preparation
    Wilt cabbage leaves in boiling water and set aside.
    Brown ground meat and onions.
    Add rice, sweet pepper, salt and pepper to taste.
    Simmer for a few minutes.
    Place a small amount of mixture in middle of wilted cabbage leaves and roll up to form a ball. Place the formed cabbage leaves in bottom of large pot and pour tomatoes over the cabbages and cook over medium heat for approximately 1 hour.
