Fragrant Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 large onion, diced
    1 stalk celery, finely chopped
    1 carrot, sliced very thin
    1 small can kidney beans, drained
    1 large can tomatoes, undrained
    2 c. tomato juice
    chili powder to taste
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown beef, adding onion, celery and carrot.
    After beef is browned through, add rest of ingredients and bring to a boil.
    (No need to add salt; canned ingredients have more than enough!) Simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
    This tasty chili will satisfy even the hungriest bears in your den!
