Irish Griddle Soda Farl - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 oz. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 pt. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift flour, soda and salt into a bowl.
    Make a well in the center and pour in buttermilk.
    Mix to a rough dough with a fork. Turn out onto lightly floured working surface.
    Knead lightly. Pat out to a circle and using a floured knife, cut into pie shaped wedges, about 8.
    Preheat griddle or heavy skillet.
    Place dough on it and bake slowly for about 5 minutes on each side. Serve with butter.
