Divinity - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. water
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Preparation

Place in pan over low heat and stir constantly until sugar is dissolved. Cook, without stirring, until it reaches 252\u00b0 or small amount forms soft ball in cold water. Remove from heat and pour in a fine stream into the stiffly beaten egg whites, beating constantly.
Continue beating until mixture holds its shape and loses its gloss.
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 cup nuts (optional). Drop from spoon onto wax paper and let cool.
