Corn Belt Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 envelope green pea soup mix
    2 c. water
    1 c. milk
    1 large can creamed corn
    1 large can whole corn
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp.
    Remove bacon and all but 1 tablespoon fat.
    Brown onion in fat.
    Stir in rest of ingredients.
    Simmer, covered, 30 minutes or so.
    Crumble bacon on top when serving.
