Geometric Shortbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter or margarine
3/4 c. cornstarch
Preparation

Blend butter with other ingredients, stirring until dough holds together.
Press evenly in an ungreased 9-inch pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 50 minutes (until lightly golden).
While still hot, prick surface all over with fork and sprinkle powdered sugar over top.
Cut into squares with sharp knife.
When cool, I put them in an airtight pan to preserve the crispness.
