Colleen'S Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. popcorn (two bags microwaved)
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. Karo
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Spread popcorn in large shallow pan. In a heavy pan, stir together sugar, margarine, Karo and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Continue cooking, without stirring, 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
    Stir in vanilla and baking soda.
    Pour over popcorn.
    Bake in
    a 250\u00b0 oven, uncovered, 1 hour, stirring 3 or 4 times.
    Break apart when cool. Store in tightly closed container.
