Candy Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 c. white corn syrup
    1 doz. apples
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. red food coloring
Preparation
    Combine water, sugar, vinegar, syrup and food coloring in large saucepan.
    Cook slowly, stirring constantly, until candy reaches hard-ball stage.
    Spoon over apples until coated.
    Let stand on wax paper.
