Ingredients

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
1/3 stick margarine
1 Tbsp. vanilla
4 egg yolks (save whites for meringue)
Preparation

Melt margarine in pan and add sugar.
Combine milk, egg yolks, flour and vanilla; add to first mixture.
Stir until thick and boil 3 minutes.
Pour in prepared pie shell.
To make meringue, beat egg whites until stiff.
Add 1/4 cup sugar and beat until it forms peaks.
Put on pie and brown in oven.
