Lime Ring Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime flavor gelatin
2 c. boiling water
1 drop green food color
16 large marshmallows
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. heavy cream, whipped
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Stir gelatin into 1 cup boiling water until dissolved.
Add food color.
In 2-quart saucepan over low heat, stir marshmallows with remaining 1 cup boiling water until melted.
Add to gelatin. Using mixer at medium speed, gradually beat undrained pineapple into cream cheese until blended.
Stir in gelatin mixture.
Fold in whipped cream and pecans.
Spoon into 6 1/2 ring mold.
Cover; chill until set.
Unmold onto serving plate.
If desired, dip seedless red grapes in sugar; shake off excess.
Pile into center of ring.
Makes 12 servings.
