Fresh Apple Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple in its own juice
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. margarine
8 oz. Cool Whip
4 or 5 Red Delicious apples, peeled and diced
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

In saucepan, stir together pineapple with juice, flour and sugar.
Cook on medium heat until mixture is thickened, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and stir in margarine.
Cool completely.
Stir in diced apples and pour mixture into shallow serving dish.
Top with Cool Whip and sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
